SAL is working with the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) and other bodies to identify issues and reform the criteria for appointment to judicial positions so as to encourage more Asian lawyers to apply and obtain appointment as judges. In this regard SAL jointly hosted a judicial appointments Roadshow with the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC ) and previously organized a talk presented by Baroness Prashar, the head of the JAC.
